A little bit of this and that

There's a lot going on.

First of all, two of my favorite bloggers have big weekends ahead. Gretchen is running a marathon, and Esmerelda is doing a triathalon. Both of you ladies rock - good luck!!!!!

Secondly, we have special guests coming to visit this weekend. Shhhhh. I can't say who it is yet, it's a surprise. But it's a good one.

Thirdly, I am being sort-of coerced into a Forced In-Law Interaction tomorrow. And since the last one went so well, I can hardly wait. Good thing I can post my frustrations here, because if Joey had any idea how pissy this makes me - well, let's just say it wouldn't be good. So I'm putting my big girl panties on and dealing with it.

My parents are headed up to Pennsylvania for a graduation party for my youngest nephew who finished up at Penn State. There is much family drama right now, as his older brother went behind his parents' back and *gasp* had the nerve to buy his own house while they were out of town. See, my sister-in-law is a majorly dramatic Italian Princess and my nephew Chris has been living at home with my brother and sister-in-law since he finished Penn State three years ago. The kid has no debt except a small truck payment, so he has been socking away a little cash. Well my sister-in-law expects her kids to live with her FOREVER so the fact that he went out and bought a house without her "permission" has her and the rest of her family in a complete uproar. Let's just say that my parents will be walking into a major Italian Shitstorm when they get there tonight. Heh heh heh. My mom can hardly wait, because she will throw a little Anglo-Saxon Shitstorm right in the middle of it all.

Eyebrow and hoo-ha are healing. I went to get a haircut and color today and Bobby was nice enough to give me some temporary bangs to hide said eyebrow. My hair color, which has been this pretty copper color for about eight months now, really looks nice and fresh. My hair grows so damn fast that I think I'm going to have to start going every four weeks instead of every five weeks, which majorly sucks.

I guess the last thing of any significance is that this week I finally got an apology from Flaky Friend for the fight we had back in December. Flaky Friend has been back in the picture since January, but had never really really really apologized. This is huge. And Friend has been making a major effort to keep in touch at least weekly. So it's good...but why does part of me keep thinking that the other shoe will eventually drop?

So today's post is pretty boring. But since I have Forced In-Law Interaction tomorrow, there is guaranteed good reading coming tomorrow, so stop on back by, y'all!

Best of luck with the in-laws. What trinket are you buying as a reward?
