So, if you're a vegetarian, what do you eat if you hardly eat any vegetables? And when you're visiting someone's house, do you expect them to cater the entire week's menu to your tastes, or do you either bring something to fix for yourself or find something among the host's offerings to eat?
Discuss amongst yourselves, please. I am really puzzled by this whole thing.
I've had a few bourbons so it's off to slumberland. Tomorrow I will report on our shitty septic problems at our house and the family post-Thanksgiving drama.

Former vegetarian of 12 years here - I would never expect anyone to cater to my diet. I would adapt and just select non-meat items, and possibly smuggle granola bars into my luggage, just in case. I would have been annoyed if a meal were 100% meat, with no side dishes - but that never, never happened.
