Greetings from the land that time forgot

So we're down here at my parents' house - we got in last night after a nightmarish dinner with my in-laws. More on this later when I don't have my husband lurking about because I've been so upset about it that I can't even talk about it at all with him right now.

Tomorrow morning, Joey and I depart for Charlotte to the race and Monkey Man will be torturing my parents for the next 24 hours. Please pray for them.

We went museuming today to the new natural history museum that (of course) wasn't completely open yet. We must have bad museum mojo. But we did have some rocking pizza for lunch so the day was somewhat salvaged. And Monkey Man got to see Chinese dinosaurs. So now he believes that Chinese people have great chicken and broccoli and cool dinosaurs. Yes, we are all about cultural diversity in our house.

I believe that by the time I get internet access tomorrow, I will be so FUBAR that posting will be impossible, so until the next time I can post I will bid you adieu.

Have fun at the race! Mister and I will try to spot you in through the reflective glass of the sky boxes.

Have a great time at the race. Sorry that the ILs have struck again. I barely survived my own mother yesterday.
